Who we are

The Pawstage is operated as an individually-run service (not a registered company). For the purposes of this policy, "we," "us," and "The Pawstage" refer to the operator of thepawstage.com. You can reach us at hello@thepawstage.com with any privacy questions.

What we collect

When you create a pet record, we collect:

• Your email address, used for account access and sending your monthly content
• Pet profile details you provide — species, breed, and birth or adoption date
• Tracker entries you choose to log — weight, vaccination dates, vet visit notes
• Basic usage data (pages visited, device/browser type) via standard analytics tools

We do not collect or store your payment card details. All billing is handled directly by Paddle.com, our payment processor and merchant of record — see their privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy for how they handle payment data.

How we use it

• To create and maintain your pet's staged content and tracker
• To send you the monthly content pack relevant to your pet's current age/stage
• To process your subscription via Paddle
• To respond if you contact us for support

We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your pet's information for anything beyond running the service you signed up for.

Data retention

If you cancel your subscription, we keep your pet's record and tracker history for 90 days in case you resubscribe. After 90 days, this data is permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing hello@thepawstage.com.

Third parties we use

• Paddle — payment processing, subscription billing, and tax compliance
• Our hosting provider — stores the website and account data securely
• Email delivery service — sends your monthly content and account notifications

Each of these providers only receives the data necessary to perform their function and is bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing hello@thepawstage.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 30 days.

Children's privacy

The Pawstage is intended for pet owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
